Thoughts on YouTube's new CLIPS feature
Clips is a new YouTube feature, currently in alpha, which allows people to highlight a specific section of a YouTube video for social sharing. If you know Twitch this feature will sound familiar and works in a similar fashion.
Clips produce a working embed when shared on Twitter and presumably elsewhere where standard YouTube video embeds work.

I've tested embedding which does not work currently, but I'd expect that to be fixed in the short term.
Clips is a feature suited to gaming videos or livestreams, where there are interesting bits in between the boring stuff, but I can see it being useful for many VODs too.

Will be available on 10x more channels (gaming first) and there's now a public watch count, for your clip. https://t.co/SuxgikRzu7
