Telegram channel comments

I've written about context when responding and how replies to a new Telegram group message show in a thread. If you've read those articles my statement that Telegram comments do not exist should make sense.

When a Telegram channel uses native comments, the channel is connected to a Discussion group.

Everything posted to the channel is forwarded to the discussion group.

Channel comments are in effect replies to the forwarded channel post in the discussion group.

When you add a "comment" to a Telegram channel post: you are in fact posting a reply to the forwarded post in the connected group discussion thread.

Simple Right?
Discuss in the "comments" ..... which are replies to this post. 🤓
