People who know me understand I'm not big on Birthday celebrations (not mine at least).
I managed to avoid the plague of birthday greetings from close and not so close contacts on Facebook by changing my privacy settings.

Upone visiting my Google profile today I was surprised and delighted by the animated birthday greeting.

Google Buzz use cases

I thought I'd cobble a post together covering a couple of brand and celebrity Buzz use cases.

There are questions as to the authenticity of the celebrity profile. If it turns out not to be real I think it's still interesting as it illustrates the kind of engagement which most profiles just don't get.

It may not feel like it sometimes but most people who engage on social platforms don't fit into either the brand or celebrity categories: but I only wanted to look at those here. If you want to present yourself up as a "real person" use case jump in with a comment.
