Faces by the comments in Google Buzz

When Punit Soni posted about a UI change in Buzz I shamelessly jumped in with a suggestion, with particular regard to comments.

A visual mock up might help.

Note: I've only covered the post pages, but I imagine much the same for Buzz in Gmail and the mobile UI.

My issue:
Scanning comments doesn't give me the instant feedback that helps me switch between scanning or really reading.

Google Buzz: No Conversations?

I caught a tweet by @socialmedia2day referencing this article (originally newcommbiz) where they said that: 90% of the content in Buzz is imported.

Twitter location data now in Google Buzz

Nice to see improvements being rolled out to Google Buzz.

Noticed that location data is now showing up on Buzz posts pulled in from Twitter.

The change shows up most on the "nearby" tab on a mobile device, as this shows the source: but will also help to populate the Buzz map too, which after an initial burst of activity was, in some locations, rather quiet.
You can view a Buzz map in your desktop browser here (works best in Chrome).
Update: Now you can see GeoBuzz posts on the desktop version of Google maps too.

If Buzz gave the option to view "Buzz from my Contacts" or filter by a group that would be really cool especially for location. Then, I don't suppoese I'd check out foursquare. I find all those "I'm at ..." tweets rather irritating: from the "outside" they're just a foursquare ad. For me location information should be supplemental not the information itself.
